Since I'm from Rotterdam, I would like to mention that the impressive indoor market is called, "Markthal" which is an upscale, gourmet type market. The large outdoor market on Blaak is called, "Markt Binnenrotte" which is a huge market with more variety and more affordable prices. Outdoor markets are found almost everywhere in the Netherlands.

The Blaak Markt is a street market, near the Makthal (Market Hall). They are located in the same area! The Blaak Markt is also quite big, but it only operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
